The Three Main Points of Copyright
An original work contains original elements that are not borrowed from any other work. The owner of the work should prevent others from stealing it and turning it into their own work but he can share his work with others. Violating the work from another person without permission may result into copyright infringement. The public domain is where the copyright term of a work has been expired which means that the material can be easily stolen from a work without the permission of the owner. It is easy to use a public domain work but some material such as a poster for a movie may still have any copyright term. Fair use is used to prevent any copyright infringement. Fair may also involved borrowing several elements from a copyright work to another work.
